Town Painting Project Progressing

A Beautiful Winter’s Day in a much Brighter Town. (Photo: Mitchell Krog)

Michele, Constance and their team, together with sponsors from various businesses and tourism operators in Magaliesburg are making great progress in bringing the town of Magaliesburg back to life.

In just 3 days there is a noticeable difference when passing through the town and we cannot wait to see how things progress over the next week. Sponsors have been very generous helping with Paint, supplies and Labour.

Michele and Connie have asked for anyone who can help with labour for next week 11-15 June 2012 to please contact them on 082-827-1023. No donation is too small and by next week they may well need more paint too. If you can assist in any way please contact them.

Old Nick’s Cafe is coming along nicely.

You can also pop into Obaro and buy some paint and simply leave it there for Michele or Connie to collect. Speak to Lientjie and mention that it is for “The Town” so that the correct colors are put aside.

Well done to everyone involved, it is great to see this town pulling together. If you have donated and your name escaped being on the list of sponsors below, please let us know on admin@magaliesburg.org.za

We’d also like to extend congrats and thanks to the Magaliesburg Country Hotel for also getting into action and painting their walls on the main street through Magaliesburg.

Have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND !!! It’s going to be a COLD one so stay warm.
